It doesn't matter who I call, no one will tell me anything! I am not the claimant or the "payee" and I am so frustrated.
My husband is also stressed out, we just handle our stress differently, I am the proactive type and he is the it'll happen when it happens type.
I can't decide if I want to scream, yell, cuss, or cry right now. I am trying so hard to be patient and I am positive that the holidays are preventing me from that.

Thank you for allowing me to vent, I don't feel better but at least I got it out!

Can't your husband get on the phone and give them permission to speak to you about his case?  I know I am ALWAYS handing the phone to my husband and just telling him to say yes whenever I call about a bill or insurance issue as they are in his name.  He also signs on the dotted line on command too Smiley

My hubby is the same way. Don't worry about it. It will happen when it happens. Just relax. Ughhhh. Sometimes I would like to show him RELAX!  ranting ranting ranting LOL!

I agree with Marci. Get them on the phone and have your hubby give permission for you to talk to them. Might work?? Hang in there. Your journey is almost at the end.  Smiley  Try and have a Merry Christmas!

When my Mother in law had problems with her backpay and payments she called SS and had me on the other line we did a conference call, they were totally ok with it and answered me directly...she just sat back and took notes or asked for clarification every once in awhile

I know how you feel dear! I too, am helping my husband.

He has signed off AT the SS office for me to speak with them, as he has learning disabilities and doesn't understand what they are saying. But EVERYTIME we call to check if theres a hearing date yet, he has to verbally tell them to speak with me.

The last time he called, the lady was a jerk and told him he needed to get his own records! I let her have it when I got on the phone! DONT dare make my hubby or son feel inferior around mama bear  Wink

I hope yall hear something soon!
