Hello all. I found out some news from ODAR which I hope will help others. My court date was December 15, 2016, I am currently in D.C. The lady I was staying with did not give me my mail or even told me I had mail until the day of court. The mail was from my lawyer informing me to go to my doctors to get some paper work filled out and bring to court, well obviously I could but trust me I was trying to get an appointment that morning. I went to court and the judge did agree with my lawyer to set my OSD to 08/14/2013. But he gave me 30 days to get that paperwork in.

So I got that done by 1/15/2017, but I also had to go for a CE which was 02/04/2017. Now here is the news I learned, I decided to call to to get information on my case because I was told that the judge had 90 to make a decision. I was told that every time you have to submit in information after your hearing the clock restarts, so I am basically looking at June. Now I dont know how this works in other states but this is what I was told by the office D.C. I do have a post office box so I never have to worry again about someone taking or hiding my mail. I hope this will help other out there that have had this problem.
