Hi all
It has been a while! Just checking in. I have a question. As you guys may know, I get ssi on my son's behalf. I Just enrolled school and I was wondering does it affect his ssi in any way? On the app was asked about his ssi but never about him. Any ideas! Thanks all

Congrats on furthering your education!

Many community colleges offer free tuition for SSI recipients - but not free tuition for parents of SSI recipients.  The financial aid application also asks about all family income to determine how much aid you qualify for.

Thank u, it's weird! They never asked me about my income or my son. Just me! They asked if I ever received Medicaid and ssi and I said yes. Than they asked about my 2015 tax return, didn't remember what I got that year. But since I have to go up to the school, I hope they can answer all of my questions. Just wasn't sure how my school would affect his ssi. Thank you
