Does the amount of BP make a difference?
« on: April 07, 2017, 02:29:00 PM »
Does the amount of backpay you receive make a difference in processing time?

For example will someone with 6 months of BP get it before someone with 25 months.?

Lawyer said they try to move the older cases first so the BP doesn't keep getting bigger. But he could have just been saying that.

Larger amounts (30k+) require 3 signatures which can delay things.  If there is SSI or WC offsets, it can delay things. 60-90 days is a general estimation.  Unless there is a serious DIRE Need situation, you just need to be patient.
