No Politics!
« on: April 19, 2017, 07:16:57 AM »
Since too many members can not abstain from generalized political party bashing, we are firmly sticking to the rule of no political posts allowed.

Topics with the Republicans did this or the Democrats did that will be removed as soon as we see them.

Further clarification, since this post has had to be bumped many times:

SSDFacts is not a board that deals with political issues of any kind; which means we do NOT allow posts, about possible legislation, telling members to write their Senators or Congressmen to vote a certain way.  We do not say members can't contact them on their own, it is their right to, but members are not allowed to use SSDFacts as a platform to push any agenda, political or not.

SSDFacts was created as a place on the Internet where people having problems with the Social Security Administration can come to for help.  That is our purpose, pure and simple.  When new legislation is passed involving Social Security, we post it and explanations on the ramifications.

If you have a problem with this, ignore the simple rule and post politically-related topics, SSDFacts staff will remove the posts and contact you as to why.

If anyone has a problem with this, feel free to Private Message me.
